Untitled Turkey Game is a endless runner style game about a Turkey avoiding Thanksgiving cutlery. The game uses a one-tap control system allowing the player to jump, keeping it simple and focussing on the core aspects of timing jumps correctly. If the player collects a set of 3 calendars, the background will change to a new season and the game’s pace will advance.
My roles for Untitled Turkey Game were creating the game’s art and implementing gameplay adjustments. For the game’s art I created game objects such as the player character which is frame by frame animated and game objects such as the cutlery. I also worked on the UI, for aspects such as the buttons, menus and the title screen. A variety of backgrounds were also created which would change after collecting 3 collectable calendars, alongside this, the speed of the games soundtrack would increase to build tension. For gameplay I was primarily focussed on the spawning patterns of the platforms and creating a tutorial for the player to learn the games core mechanics.
